What is Elements of Proof?
Elements of Proof is a legal education platform that helps users understand crimes, torts, contracts, and constitutional rights. All information is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
How do I search for a specific crime or law?
Select the relevant tab (Criminal Law, Tort/Civil Law, etc.), choose your state/jurisdiction from the dropdown, and type your search in the search bar. If a crime is not in our database, the app can generate an entry using AI.
How do I upgrade to full access?
You can upgrade from the Profile page under the Pricing tab, or when you reach the free search limit. Full access is a one-time $10 payment.
I already paid but still see the search limit — what do I do?
Go to your Profile page and tap "Pricing" — there is a refresh button to restore your access. If the issue persists, email supports@element-of-proof.com with your receipt.
How do I delete my account or data?
Go to Profile → Delete My Data and submit a deletion request, or email supports@element-of-proof.com. Our team will process your request within 5 business days.
Is this app a substitute for a lawyer?
No. Elements of Proof provides legal information for educational purposes only. Use of this platform does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal advice.
How do I report a bug or technical issue?
Use the contact form on this page or email supports@element-of-proof.com with a description of the issue and, if possible, a screenshot.
